Generate a Custom QR Code

Turn any text, website URL, or Wi-Fi credential string into a scannable QR code. Choose the size, error-correction level, and colors, then download it as a PNG — all generated locally in your browser.

Features:

  • Adjustable size: From 200×200 up to 800×800 pixels.
  • Error correction levels: L, M, Q, or H, trading density for damage tolerance.
  • Custom colors: Pick any foreground and background color.
  • Client-side only: The content you encode is never sent to a server.

1. Choosing an Error Correction Level

Error correction lets a QR code still scan even if part of it is smudged, torn, or covered by a small logo. Low (L) keeps the code simplest and fastest to scan; High (H) can recover from significant damage but produces a visually denser code. Medium (M) is a solid default for most digital and printed uses.

2. What You Can Encode

A plain URL, a message, an email address as mailto:name@example.com, a phone number as tel:+15551234567, or Wi-Fi credentials as WIFI:T:WPA;S:NetworkName;P:password;; — most phone cameras recognize these formats automatically once scanned.

What is error correction level for? It lets a QR code still scan correctly even if part of it is damaged or partially covered. Higher levels survive more damage but produce a denser code.
What can I put into a QR code? Any text works: a website URL, plain text, an email address (mailto:), a phone number (tel:), or Wi-Fi credentials.
Is my data uploaded to a server? No. The QR code is generated and drawn entirely in your browser using JavaScript.

Great for sharing links, Wi-Fi access, or contact details.

100% client-side generation.
