Generate a Complete Favicon Set

Upload any image and get every common favicon size back as PNGs, plus a combined favicon.ico and the exact HTML tags to paste into your site's <head>. Everything is generated locally using the browser's canvas — nothing is uploaded.

Features:

  • Six sizes at once: 16, 32, 48, 180, 192, and 512 pixels.
  • Combined favicon.ico: Packs the 16/32/48px sizes into one classic .ico file.
  • Ready-to-paste HTML: The exact <link> tags for every size.
  • Client-side only: Your image never leaves your browser.

1. Why So Many Sizes?

Browsers, phone home screens, and Android/PWA install prompts each look for a different icon size. 16 and 32 pixel icons cover the browser tab and bookmarks bar, 48 covers older Windows shortcuts, 180 is Apple's touch-icon size for iOS home screens, and 192/512 are the standard Android and Progressive Web App icon sizes.

2. Designing for Small Sizes

At 16×16 pixels, fine detail disappears. A simple, high-contrast mark — a letter, a glyph, or a bold shape — reads far better than a detailed logo once shrunk down that far. Test how your design looks at the smallest size before finalizing it.

Which sizes are generated? 16×16, 32×32, 48×48, 180×180 (Apple touch icon), and 192×192 / 512×512 (Android/PWA), plus a combined favicon.ico with the 16/32/48 sizes.
Where do I put the generated files? Upload them to the root of your website, then paste the provided HTML snippet into the <head> of your pages.
What image should I start with? A square image with the important part of the design centered works best, since smaller sizes will crop or shrink the edges.

One upload, every favicon size a website needs.
