Use this for work hours, study sessions, travel duration, event length, or any start and end time calculation.
Use this when you need to know the exact future or past date after a duration.
This free time calculator helps you find the duration between two times, subtract break time, handle overnight periods, and calculate future or past dates by adding or subtracting years, months, weeks, days, hours, and minutes.
Use the duration section when you only care about elapsed time between a start and end clock time. Use the add/subtract section when you need a calendar result such as the exact date 45 days from today or the time 36 hours before a deadline.
Enter start time, end time, and optional break hours or minutes. The calculator subtracts the break from the total elapsed time and shows the final answer in readable format, decimal hours, total minutes, and total seconds.
Use the next-day checkbox when the end time passes midnight. Add break time only when it should be deducted from the total duration. For calendar-based calculations, select the starting date first and then add or subtract the duration units you need.
1 Hour = 60 minutes
1 Day = 24 hours
1 Week = 7 days
Decimal Hours = total minutes divided by 60
